Hiring and sales of LED lighting decor for weddings and functions
Johnathan and Minette at Groenrivier, Riebeek Wes. Photographed by Catherine Mac Photography. They had the outside area decorated with lights. Fairy lights were wrapped around the balustrades and there was an fairy light curtain at the entrance and at the rear end of the stoop.
The capturing of memories of your special day is a very important aspect when planning your wedding day… and lighting plays a big role in not only creating atmosphere but also helping to get that stunning picture.
There’s a few ideas from some of our work of how fairy light curtains can create those “wow” effects. Thank you to all the photographers who shared their work for this post.
Peter and Monique in the forest off Winery Road, Stellenbosch. Photographed by John Carson. We also had fairy lights wrapped around a few trees and running some lengths between the trees. Really an awesome site, having these lights in a forest.
Garth and Natalie at New Oaks Farm, Groot Drakenstein. Photographed by Lindy Truter. The tent didn’t have any side flaps so the whole section was covered with the fairy light curtains, giving this golden glitter effect throughout the place as well as providing a defined area. We worked with wedding planner, Melissa, from Pretty in Stains.
Wedding held at Blowfish, Dolphin Beach. We worked with Mekyla, from Top Shelf Events. Photographs by Vizion Photo. We had 1m curtain sections suspended throughout the restaurant with the windows providing excellent reflection.
Another curtain was hung behind some draping providing a softer backdrop for the cake and bridal table.
